Sherwood Forest Country Park, Edwinstowe - 28th July to 3 August 2008
Sherwood Forest welcomes you to a week-long celebration of the life and times of the world's most famous outlaw - Robin Hood!
This will be the 24th year of the festival, which is organised by staff of Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre. The fun packed event takes place in and around the Visitor Centre, located near the historic village of Edwinstowe in North Nottinghamshire. 

The  festival programme features jesters, jousting tournaments, music and children's theatre, strolling players, birds of prey, storytelling, battles and costumed characters plus - of course - bold outlaws.

Come and enjoy the colour and action of one of the Midland's biggest free festivals.
