New Mayor for Newark

Retired businessman, Mr Bryan Richardson, has been elected as the new Mayor of Newark.  He was nominated by Mr David Payne, and the Conservatives and one Labour member favoured the nomination.  Mr Richardson has lived in Newark from childhood and has always taken an active part in the local community and in the business community of the town.
