New school for Newark

Work is expected to start in July at Bowbridge Primary School in Newark and should take about a year to complete.  It will provide a light and airy environment for pupils and staff, and is designed to utilise natural and sustainable resources to ventilate and heat the place.  Ten classrooms are planned to accommodate Years 2 - 6.  The old buildings will continue to be used by the nursery and Yr 1, and also by other Newark community groups.
