Newark Marinas
Newark River - The River Trent is 170 miles long and is England's fourth longest river. It has a long history of navigation for trade and commercial use - in 1773 building of the Trent Navigation and locks improved the situation immensely. This along with improvements to the Great North Road enabled the town of Newark to flourish as an important commercial centre.
