Newark's 13th Beer Festival a huge success

140 real ales from a wide variety of breweries were available at Newark's three-day Beer Festival, and they had all sold out by Sunday evening.  11,000 pints of rare beers were consumed by more than 4,000 visitors to the event, in addition to cider, wine and other drinks.  The emphasis this year was on locally brewed beers and proved to be a huge success.
